Plymouth Argyle Appoints Muslic as Head Coach
Plymouth Argyle has appointed Miron Muslic as their new head coach on a three-and-a-half-year contract, replacing Wayne Rooney. Muslic, a 42-year-old Austrian-Bosnian, comes from managing Cercle Brugge in Belgium, where he led the team to European football despite a challenging start. He is the first foreign manager for Argyle and will face the task of lifting the team from the bottom of the Championship table, three points adrift of safety. Muslic has expressed confidence in restructuring the team to achieve their goal of Championship survival. He will be observing from the stands during the FA Cup match against Brentford before officially taking charge against Oxford United. Argyle's chairman, Simon Hallett, praised Muslic's tactical awareness and vision for the team's future.
