Principal Arrested for Student's Murder in Gujarat

A six-year-old girl in Gujarat's Dahod district was murdered by her school principal, Govind Nat, after she resisted his attempt to sexually assault her. The principal initially claimed he had dropped her off at school, but phone location data and intensive questioning led to his confession. The girl's body was found on the school premises, and the principal had attempted to cover up the crime by planting her belongings near her classroom. Allegations have emerged that Nat had political connections with the BJP and RSS. Gujarat Education Minister Kuber Dindor condemned the act and praised the police for their swift investigation and arrest of Nat.
