Students Engage with NASA Astronauts in Space Q&A Events Across New Jersey, Connecticut

Students at the Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School in New Jersey recently had the opportunity to interact with NASA astronaut Nick Hague, who answered questions from the International Space Station (ISS), highlighting life in space and the importance of sustainable food growth for future missions to the Moon and Mars. Similarly, students from Rocky Hill, Connecticut, are set to connect with astronauts Hague and Don Pettit for a 20-minute session where they will address STEM-related inquiries, aiming to inspire the next generation of explorers and educate them about space exploration careers. Both events emphasize NASA's commitment to engaging students and fostering interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). NASA continues to utilize the ISS for various scientific experiments and preparations for future missions, including the Artemis program, which aims to return humans to the Moon.
