US Border Control, USPS Warn Against Fireworks Ahead of July 4

The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) strongly prohibits mailing any type of fireworks, including sparklers and firecrackers, due to their classification as hazardous materials and the significant safety risks they pose to postal employees and the public. USPS has investigated over 1,700 cases related to attempts to mail fireworks and warns that violators may face civil penalties, criminal charges, and package confiscation.
