Universal Halloween Horror Nights Features Five Nights At Freddy’s Haunted Houses Across Parks

Universal's Halloween Horror Nights 2025 is featuring highly anticipated haunted houses, including a standout attraction based on the popular Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNAF) franchise. This house is inspired by the 2023 Blumhouse film adaptation and was developed as a fan-wish fulfillment, with immersive details and authentic animatronics crafted by Universal's technical team and Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. The experience follows the film’s storyline and features iconic characters like Freddy, Chica, Foxy, and Springtrap, delivering genuine scares even to those unfamiliar with the source material. Creative director John Murdy emphasized the close collaboration between the Hollywood and Orlando teams to create a nearly identical experience on both coasts, with Hollywood focusing on audio and Orlando on video effects. Alongside FNAF, the event also includes other major attractions such as Fallout and Poltergeist, with elaborate storytelling and high production values. Halloween Horror Nights runs on select nights from late August through early November at Universal Orlando and begins in early September at Universal Studios Hollywood, promising intense horror experiences distinct from more family-friendly Halloween events like Disney’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
