Evil Dead Burn Wraps, Teaser Confirms July 2026

Sébastien Vaniček’s Evil Dead Burn has finished principal photography — wrapping after an 11-week shoot in New Zealand — and the director posted a brief, bloody teaser clip showing a brutal off‑screen attack. The film, written by Vaniček and Florent Bernard with Philip Lozano as cinematographer and produced by Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert (with Bruce Campbell and Lee Cronin as executive producers), is described as an unconnected, anthology‑style spinoff and is slated for theatrical release on July 24, 2026. Vaniček has said he set out to make a “nasty,” cathartic horror that “hurts.” Another new Evil Dead entry from Francis Galluppi is also in development. Separately, Blake Ridder’s Manor of Darkness debuted a poster and trailer and is scheduled for digital release on December 9, adding to a busy horror slate into 2026.
