Cardinals Activate Jonah Williams From Injured Reserve

The Arizona Cardinals have activated right tackle Jonah Williams from injured reserve, where he had been since suffering a knee injury in the first quarter of the season opener against the Buffalo Bills. Williams, who was signed to a two-year, $30 million deal this offseason, missed nine games but is now available ahead of Week 12's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Coach Jonathan Gannon has indicated that while Williams is healthy, his status as the starting right tackle is not guaranteed, as Kelvin Beachum has performed well in his absence. The decision will be based on various factors as the team evaluates its options. The Cardinals, currently leading the NFC West at 6-4, released Charlie Heck to make room for Williams on the roster.
