JMG Group Expands UK Operations with Three Acquisitions

JMG Group has expanded its presence in the UK insurance market through three strategic acquisitions by its subsidiaries GS Group, Greenwood Moreland, and Lighthouse Risk Services. GS Group acquired Scottish broker W K Insurance, bringing in seven professionals and appointing Scott King as managing director. Greenwood Moreland has invested in York-based UKI Direct, adding £2.5 million in gross written premiums and bringing on three experienced brokers, including new leader Ian Donald. Lighthouse acquired Leeds-based TSE Solutions, a specialist in tailored risk management, with managing director Antony Eckersley joining the Lighthouse team to focus on business development. JMG Group's leadership emphasized that these acquisitions align with their growth strategy of supporting entrepreneurial autonomy within a robust group framework. Clients of the acquired firms are expected to benefit from enhanced services through the broader capabilities and infrastructure provided by JMG Group.
