Community Groups Provide Thanksgiving Meals Nationwide

As Thanksgiving approaches, various communities are coming together to support families in need through meal distributions and community dinners. The Columbus Crew football team held its 12th annual Thanksgiving meal distribution, providing holiday meals and gift bags to local families, with players like Dejuan Jones emphasizing the importance of giving back. In Oneonta, high school students and volunteers are preparing to serve around 900 meals at St. Mary's Church, showcasing the community's commitment to helping those less fortunate. Snyder County volunteers are also working hard to prepare over 500 meals, with a focus on ensuring no one goes hungry during the holiday. Meanwhile, the Burger Dock in Coeur d'Alene is hosting a 'Giving Thanks' free community meal, offering a unique take on Thanksgiving dishes. Additionally, the Hilltopper and Holmen Area Rotary Clubs are gearing up for their 14th annual Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner, further highlighting the spirit of generosity during this season.
