Kyle Busch Gains New Crew Chief Andy Street for Remainder of 2025 NASCAR Season
Richard Childress Racing announced that Andy Street will replace Randall Burnett as the crew chief for Kyle Busch's No. 8 team starting this weekend at the Charlotte ROVAL. Burnett, who has been Busch's crew chief since 2023 with three wins in their first season together, will transition to a support role with RCR through the end of 2025 before joining Trackhouse Racing in 2026 as crew chief for rookie Connor Zilisch. Street brings extensive experience, having previously worked with Austin Hill and Jesse Love in the Cup Series and leading Hill to 10 wins in the Xfinity Series from 2022 to 2024. Busch has struggled recently, going winless since June 2023 and missing the playoffs in both 2024 and 2025. The move is seen as a step toward improving performance for the remainder of 2025 and possibly into the 2026 season, with Street considered a candidate to remain Busch's crew chief next year. Additional updates on future roles within RCR are expected later.
