Multiple Arrests in Alabama, Illinois Child Exploitation Cases

Authorities have made multiple arrests in ongoing investigations targeting child sex crimes and human trafficking. In Urbana, Illinois, Carson Zajdel, 38, was arrested on preliminary child exploitation charges following a joint investigation between the Urbana Police Department and Hopkinsville Police Department. In Morgan County, Alabama, a multi-agency operation led to the arrest of Daytron Shawntrell Tolliver, 38, and Corey DeWayne Wynn, 50, on charges including electronic solicitation of a child, traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act, and human trafficking. Tolliver and Wynn were initially released on bond but are now held without bond after grand jury arrest warrants were executed in June 2025.
