Chicago Synagogue Shooter Charged with Terrorism

Sidi Mohamed Abdallahi, a 22-year-old Mauritanian illegal immigrant, has been charged with terrorism, hate crimes, and other felonies for allegedly shooting a Jewish man on his way to a synagogue in Chicago. The charges are linked to an incident where Abdallahi reportedly targeted a 39-year-old Orthodox Jewish man, shooting him in the shoulder, and then fired upon responding police and paramedics. Chicago Police Superintendent Larry Snelling confirmed that digital evidence showed Abdallahi specifically targeted individuals of the Jewish faith, leading to the additional charges. The suspect remains hospitalized after being shot by police during the confrontation.
