Rohingya in Myanmar

Bangladesh is facing a surge in Rohingya refugees, with at least 18,000 fleeing escalating violence in Myanmar's Rakhine state, primarily due to intensified fighting between the Myanmar military and the Arakan Army. Eyewitness accounts suggest that violent clashes, including a recent attack in Maungdaw resulting in numerous civilian deaths, have led to thousands more attempting to cross into Bangladesh.
