Jermaine Jenas Removed from Formula E on TNT Sports

Jermaine Jenas has been removed from his role as the presenter for Formula E on TNT Sports after just one season, following allegations of sending inappropriate messages to colleagues on BBC's The One Show. His dismissal from Formula E follows his earlier departure from the BBC, where he was relieved from roles on Match of the Day and The One Show. Nicki Shields will replace Jenas as the lead presenter for Formula E under the new broadcast deal with ITV, with Karun Chandhok, David Coulthard, and Billy Monger joining the presenting team. Jenas, a former Tottenham and England footballer, had been considered a rising star in broadcasting, even tipped to succeed Gary Lineker on Match of the Day. Despite insisting he did nothing illegal, Jenas has expressed regret and apologized for his actions, acknowledging a need for personal help. The new Formula E season will air on ITV4 and ITVX, featuring all races and a new highlights show.
