The blaze, which began around 9:30 p.m. and was brought under control by 1:21 a.m., released noxious smoke that affected nearby residents. Meanwhile, in Baltimore County, a separate three-alarm fire at the Owl Metals recycling facility was declared extinguished after a week of smoldering and rekindling. Although no serious injuries were reported, an elderly man was hospitalized as a precaution. Both incidents have raised concerns about air quality in the surrounding areas.
