North Dakota State Wins 10th FCS Title
North Dakota State University (NDSU) won its 10th Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) title by defeating previously undefeated Montana State 35-32 in Frisco, Texas. Quarterback Cam Miller led the Bison with two rushing and two passing touchdowns, completing 19 of 22 passes for 200 yards, marking his 54th consecutive start. NDSU's Bryce Lance contributed significantly with nine receptions for 108 yards and a touchdown, helping the Bison achieve a 21-3 lead by halftime. This victory solidifies NDSU's dominance in FCS football, as they have now won 10 national championships since 2011, more than any other school since the FCS was created in 1978. Montana State's quarterback Tommy Mellott also had a strong performance, scoring two touchdowns but ultimately falling short. NDSU's head coach Tim Polasek secured his first national title since taking over the program in 2023.
