Radio Hall of Fame Inducts 2024 Class

The Radio Hall of Fame held its 2024 induction ceremony on September 19 at the Omni Nashville Hotel, honoring eight notable radio personalities, including Lorianne Crook & Charlie Chase, Lee Harris, and Phil Hendrie. The inductees were selected by a voting panel of over 900 industry professionals, with two chosen by the Nominating Committee. Meanwhile, the Lowcountry Music Hall of Fame will induct 11 new members on October 22, including Linard McCloud and the late Steve Carroll, recognizing their contributions to the area's musical heritage. Additionally, Frankie Beverly, who passed away recently, will be honored posthumously at the National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame ceremony on October 6, alongside other notable artists like Jeffrey Osborne and Ginuwine. The Bruce Grey Music Hall of Fame will also induct five new members on September 29, including Neil Raynsford and Sue Murdoch, celebrating their impact on local music. Each event highlights the enduring legacy and contributions of these artists to their respective musical genres.
