MotoGP Champion Jorge Martín Hospitalized After Back-to-Back Crashes in Malaysia

Jorge Martin, the reigning MotoGP champion, suffered significant injuries during the first day of pre-season testing in Sepang, Malaysia, after two crashes. Initially, he fell off his bike but managed to continue testing; however, a second, more severe crash led to a hard landing where he hit his head and injured his left foot and right hand. Martin was subsequently taken to the hospital where it was confirmed that he suffered multiple fractures, including in his right hand and left foot. Despite the setbacks, he expressed his determination to recover quickly and return for the season opener in Thailand on March 2. Aprilia Racing, Martin's new team, issued a supportive statement encouraging his comeback. Additionally, fellow rider Raul Fernandez also experienced a crash during the tests and sustained injuries.
