Three Men Arrested in Redwood City Robberies

Police in Redwood City arrested three men early Tuesday morning after they allegedly committed a series of armed robberies at two 7-Eleven stores. The first incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Fifth Avenue and Bay Road, followed by a second at El Camino Real, where victims reported similar suspect descriptions. The suspects were linked to a prior robbery in Martinez via a bulletin that included a vehicle description and license plate number, tracked using the city's Automated License Plate Reader system. Officers spotted the suspects wearing ski masks near a Denny's restaurant, where they attempted to flee but were apprehended shortly after, with firearms recovered. The arrested individuals include a 30-year-old man from Vallejo, a 23-year-old from San Francisco, and a 19-year-old from Fairfield, all booked on charges including armed robbery. Meanwhile, in Japan, three men were arrested for violent home invasion robberies in Tokyo and Saitama, with one additional suspect still at large.
