Mother Arrested for Arson in Louisiana

Lucille Holloway, a 36-year-old woman from Denham Springs, was arrested for allegedly setting fire to her home with her 11-year-old daughter inside. The incident occurred on October 19, and both Holloway and her daughter managed to escape the blaze. An investigation by the State Fire Marshal's Office revealed that the fire was intentionally set, and the home was in foreclosure at the time. Holloway reportedly filed an insurance claim for the damages and accepted financial assistance from a disaster relief organization following the fire. She has been charged with aggravated arson, cruelty to a juvenile, insurance fraud, and misdemeanor theft and was booked on November 12.
