Two Las Vegas Homicides Under Police Investigation

North Las Vegas police are investigating a homicide that took place early Sunday morning at an apartment complex on Bassler Street, where an adult man died from injuries sustained during a battery involving a deadly weapon; suspects fled before officers arrived and no arrests have been made. In a separate incident Friday night, Las Vegas police arrested 34-year-old Jacob Conrad for open murder with a deadly weapon after a fatal shooting in a parking lot near Harry Reid International Airport, where Conrad and the victim reportedly arrived together and had a physical altercation before the shooting. The victim in the airport-area shooting was pronounced dead at the hospital. Both incidents remain under investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact law enforcement or provide anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers.
