Multiple California School Staff Arrested Over Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Multiple school staff members across the U.S. have been arrested amid allegations of sexual misconduct involving students. Similarly, Elvin Paul Vereau, a contract special academic instructor in the Redlands Unified School District, was arrested on charges including continual sexual abuse of a child under 14, with authorities investigating additional potential victims. In Minnesota, a 23-year-old staff member at Richfield Middle School was taken into custody following allegations of a sexual relationship with a student; the school district responded by placing the employee on administrative leave and cooperating with law enforcement during the ongoing investigation.
