Lamborghini Reports Record Revenue Growth for 2024

Lamborghini reported a remarkable 20% increase in revenue for the first nine months of 2024, totaling 2.43 billion euros ($2.60 billion), driven by robust demand across its entire model lineup and a strong order backlog. The Italian luxury carmaker, part of the Volkswagen Group, delivered 8,411 vehicles during this period, marking an 8.6% rise from the previous year. Operating profit also saw a notable increase of 9.8%, reaching 678 million euros. CEO Stephan Winkelmann attributed this success to the launch of three new models, including the hybrid Lamborghini Temerario, which has received a positive reception. The company's order bank remains strong, with waiting times exceeding two years for some models and production already booked for the Urus SE through 2025. These results solidify Lamborghini's standing in the luxury automotive sector and set the stage for continued growth and innovation.
