The Couple Next Door Season 2 Premieres on Starz September 19

Starz has acquired the U.S. and Canadian rights to the second season of the British psychological thriller The Couple Next Door, premiering all six episodes on September 19, 2025, across its app and streaming platforms. The first season, starring Sam Heughan and Eleanor Tomlinson, was a major success for Starz and resonated strongly with its female and Outlander-viewing audiences. Season two adopts an anthology format with a new cast led by Annabel Scholey, Sam Palladio, Aggy K. Adams, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, with Hugh Dennis returning from the original cast. The new storyline centers on heart surgeon Charlotte Roberts and her husband Jacob, as well as their enigmatic colleague Mia and Charlotte's old flame Leo, exploring the dark consequences of fulfilling hidden desires in a suburban setting. High-ranking Starz executives highlighted the show's appeal and its role in expanding the network's premium adult programming slate. The release will be a full-season drop, differing from the weekly rollout of season one.
