DBS Announces Leadership Changes in Banking Division

DBS Group has announced two significant senior leadership appointments effective January 1, 2025. Han Kwee Juan, currently the Singapore Country Head, will succeed Tan Su Shan as the Group Head of Institutional Banking (IBG), while Lim Him Chuan, who leads Strategy, Transformation, Analytics & Research (GSTAR), will take over as Singapore Country Head. Han has been with DBS since 2019 and has played a key role in maintaining market leadership in various banking sectors, while Lim has been driving the bank's transformation agenda, focusing on artificial intelligence integration. Both will report to CEO Piyush Gupta and remain on the DBS Group Executive Committee. These changes come ahead of Tan Su Shan's scheduled transition to Group CEO on March 28, 2025.
