Jake Paul, Eddie Hearn Settle Defamation Lawsuit

Jake Paul and Eddie Hearn have reached a settlement over a defamation lawsuit initially filed by Hearn's Matchroom Boxing against Paul's Most Valuable Promotions. The lawsuit, filed in September 2022, stemmed from Paul's allegations that Matchroom paid judge Glenn Feldman to favor their fighters in scoring, particularly in fights involving Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano and Oleksandr Usyk vs. Anthony Joshua. The settlement resulted in the dismissal of the lawsuit with prejudice, meaning it cannot be refiled, and the terms of the settlement remain undisclosed. This agreement allows Paul and Hearn to continue working together to promote the trilogy fight between Taylor and Serrano, scheduled for July 11 at Madison Square Garden. Despite the legal disputes, both parties have collaborated on previous events, including Taylor vs. Serrano 2 in November 2024.
