Disneyland Haunted Mansion Closing August 11 for Holiday Overlay

This collection is part of Disney's Halloween celebration and includes apparel like spirit and sport jerseys inspired by the iconic wallpaper and themes of the Haunted Mansion ride. Meanwhile, Disneyland has announced the closure of the Haunted Mansion attraction starting August 11, 2025, to prepare for the annual Halloween transformation into the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay, which features characters from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. The ride is expected to reopen on August 22, 2025, and remain open through January 7, 2026, with this year's overlay continuing the tradition of a unique gingerbread display in the ballroom scene. The closure follows a recent refurbishment that included a reimagined queue, a new gift shop, an ADA-accessible elevator, and updates to the attraction’s characters.
