Former 'Jeopardy!' champion Winston Nguyen, 37, has been arrested and charged with soliciting sexually explicit images from minors while teaching math at Saint Ann's School in Brooklyn. Nguyen allegedly used two Snapchat accounts to pose as a fellow student between October 2022 and May 2024, targeting five girls and one boy from various Brooklyn schools. He has been charged with multiple felonies, including use of a child in a sexual performance and promoting a sexual performance by a child. Nguyen was previously arrested in 2017 for stealing $300,000 from an elderly couple. His arraignment was held on July 25, with bail set at $30,000 cash or $75,000 bond, and his next court appearance is scheduled for October 17. Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez emphasized the troubling nature of a trusted teacher exploiting students and vowed to seek justice.
