Iowa Hawkeyes Add Drake Players Cam Manyawu, Kael Combs

Ben McCollum has been appointed as the new head coach of the Iowa Hawkeyes, following his successful season at Drake where he led the Bulldogs to a 31-4 record and a conference title. McCollum is quickly reshaping the Iowa roster, securing commitments from two of his former players, 6-foot-8 forward Cam Manyawu and 6-foot-4 guard Kael Combs, both transferring from Drake. Manyawu averaged 7.1 points and 5.3 rebounds last season, while Combs contributed 3.8 points in a supporting role. They join Bennett Stirtz, the MVC Player of the Year, who also made the transfer from Drake to Iowa. This influx of talent reflects McCollum's strategy to build a competitive team in Iowa City.
