Central Market in Austin, Texas, celebrated its 30th anniversary by setting a Guinness World Record for the largest charcuterie board, measuring 12 feet by 24 feet and containing over 1,000 pounds of artisanal meats, cheeses, and other accompaniments. The celebration took place at the store's original North Lamar location and included live music and beverages. The board featured 540 pounds of cured meats, 240 pounds of cheeses, 130 pounds of fruits, and 90 pounds of spreads. The previous record was held by Boarderie in Florida, with a 769-pound board. After the event, the food was distributed to customers, employees, and the Central Texas Food Bank. Central Market also donated $30,000 to the St. David's Foundation to support healthcare access in Central Texas.
