Alec Baldwin has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges following the shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his movie Rust in October 2021. Indicted by a Santa Fe jury in January after a new gun analysis, Baldwin waived his court appearance, submitted a not-guilty plea, and requested a quick trial to minimize public vilification. If convicted, Baldwin faces up to 18 months in prison.
