LSU Freshman RB JT Lindsey Turns Himself In Accessory Charges
LSU freshman running back J.T. Lindsey turned himself in to university police following an arrest warrant for accessory after the fact charges related to harboring two teenagers wanted in connection with a murder earlier this year. Lindsey's attorney, Kris Perret, stated that Lindsey was unaware the individuals staying in his dorm were wanted for second-degree murder and denied any involvement in the underlying crimes. The two suspects, Keldrick Jordan and Shemell Jacobs, were arrested by U.S. Marshals at the Nicholson Gateway dormitories. Lindsey, a highly ranked four-star recruit from Alexandria, Louisiana, maintains his innocence and is cooperating with law enforcement. LSU officials have declined to comment out of respect for the legal process. Lindsey's legal team expressed hope for a swift resolution while emphasizing his lack of wrongdoing.
