All Stolen Cofidis Tour Bikes Recovered

The Cofidis cycling team had 11 LOOK bikes worth about €13,000 each stolen from their truck overnight before stage two of the 2025 Tour de France, despite security measures in place. Police launched an investigation, visiting the team's hotel to document the burglary. Cofidis managed to secure enough bikes to participate in the 209.1-km stage from Lauwin-Planque to Boulogne-sur-Mer. By the day after stage three, all 11 stolen bikes had been recovered, some found discarded near the team's hotel. The theft is part of a broader trend of similar crimes targeting professional cycling teams during major races. The race continued as planned, with Mathieu van der Poel winning stage two and taking the yellow jersey.
