Laura Jane Grace In The Trauma Tropes Announces Album 'Adventure Club' Due July 18

Laura Jane Grace has announced her upcoming album, 'Adventure Club', set for release on July 18 via Polyvinyl, featuring 12 tracks inspired by Greek mythology and themes of love, betrayal, and personal evolution. The album was developed during a month-long songwriting retreat in Greece, assisted by a Fellowship grant from the Onassis Foundation, and includes contributions from her wife, Paris Campbell Grace, and Athens-based musicians Jacopo Fokas and Orestis Lagadinos. The lead single, 'Mine Me Mine', critiques capitalism and is accompanied by a visualizer. Grace describes the album as a blend of protest and personal songs, with a focus on learning to take up space and authenticity in today's chaotic world. In addition to the album, Grace will embark on a North American tour this summer, supporting acts like Murder By Death. The album tracklist includes provocative titles, such as 'Your God (God's D*ck)' and 'Fuck You Harry Potter'.
