Guardian Metal Resources Begins First Drilling at Nevada Tempiute Tungsten Project Since 1980s

Guardian Metal Resources plc has initiated its first diamond drilling program at the Tempiute tungsten project in Nevada, marking the first drilling activity there since the 1980s. The program targets multiple brownfield exploration sites and new skarn zones, with 19 drill targets planned for Phase I and additional targets to be identified as results come in. Tempiute, once the largest tungsten mine in the USA during the 1980s, is located near the ALS Laboratory Group’s Reno facility, enabling efficient sample processing and ongoing updates to shareholders. This effort is part of Guardian Metal’s broader mission to establish Tempiute and its Pilot Mountain project as key domestic sources of tungsten, a critical defense mineral prioritized by the U.S. government. By developing these resources, the company aims to reduce reliance on foreign supply chains and enhance U.S. economic and defense security. The CEO is personally overseeing the start of the drilling operations to ensure progress and transparency throughout the campaign.
