Body of Missing Philadelphia Woman Found in Wilmington River
The remains found on March 4 along the Christina River in Wilmington, Delaware, have been identified as 32-year-old Normaris Colón Valles, who went missing from Philadelphia last November. She was last seen on November 21, 2024, at a sports bar, reportedly with several men, and possibly traveling in a black pickup truck or a gray BMW. The remains, discovered by police at approximately 6 p.m., showed no signs of foul play, although the cause of death remains undetermined. Investigators believe the body may have been in the river since December. The Wilmington Police Department is collaborating with the Philadelphia Police Department on this ongoing investigation and has released sketches of tattoos found on Colón Valles to aid in the investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
