Coast Guard Suspends Search For Missing Fisherman Near Newport Oregon

The U.S. Coast Guard suspended its search for a missing fisherman after the 40-foot fishing vessel Das Bug capsized near the Yaquina Bay Jetty in Newport, Oregon. The decision to suspend the search was described as difficult by Coast Guard Lt. Cdr. Jacqueline Hunnicutt, who expressed sympathy for the missing crew member's family.
