Apartment Rent Prices Slightly Rise, Fall Across Multiple US Counties in April

Apartment rental listing prices in several U.S. counties showed minor fluctuations in April compared to March, according to data from Apartment List. Collier County, Florida, experienced a slight increase in average rent to $1,684, marking a 0.3% rise but still down 4.8% from last year, with one-bedroom units averaging $1,465 and two-bedrooms at $1,602. Lee County, Florida, also saw a small rent increase to $1,407, up 0.7% from March but down 4.1% year-over-year, with one-bedroom and two-bedroom rents at $1,154 and $1,327 respectively. In New Castle County, Delaware, rental prices remained almost flat at $1,440, showing a slight 0.6% increase year-over-year, with one-bedroom rents near $1,231 and two-bedrooms around $1,469. Conversely, Tom Green County, Texas, observed a slight decline in rents to $1,030, down 0.5% from March and 8.2% from last year, with one-bedroom rentals averaging $795 and two-bedroom units $1,047. Across all areas, these trends reflect small monthly changes with year-over-year rent decreases in Florida and Texas, slight increases in Delaware, and nationwide rental prices showing modest growth.
