Porsche Unveils Cayenne Electric Interior Featuring Curved OLED Flow Display and Advanced Digital Innovations
Porsche has revealed the interior of the upcoming Cayenne Electric ahead of a full debut later in 2025 and a market launch in 2026, and it will be sold alongside a facelifted ICE Cayenne as the company retools some of its wider EV plans. The cabin centers on a new “Flow Display,” a curved OLED that extends into the center console and creates what Porsche calls its largest display area yet (about 50% more screen space), complemented by a 14.25‑inch digital instrument cluster and an optional 14.9‑inch passenger screen and rear climate screen. Physical shortcuts and familiar Porsche controls remain — a volume roller, toggles and a rotary drive‑mode selector — while new interaction features include the Ferry Pad wrist rest to stabilize inputs, a reworked Porsche Digital Interaction (Android Automotive–based) UI with “Mood Modes,” and configurable widgets. Practical tech includes an optional 11 kW wireless charging pad (about 90% efficient) that uses on‑screen guidance to align the vehicle, and ambient lighting that communicates charging and drive states. Porsche has also teased high-end performance for top Cayenne EVs (more than 1,000 metric horsepower and sub‑3.0‑second 0–62 mph times) and emphasizes that the interior aims to be a high‑tech but usable flagship, though some functions (like vent adjustments) move into the touchscreen.
