New Zealand's T20I squad for the upcoming tri-nation series in Zimbabwe has been announced by new head coach Rob Walter, featuring several notable absences and fresh faces. Veteran batter Devon Conway, whose recent form has dipped significantly, has been omitted alongside former captain Kane Williamson, who is unavailable due to commitments in England. The squad is captained by Mitchell Santner and includes the uncapped Auckland batter Bevon Jacobs, who has impressed domestically and in the IPL. Fast bowler Adam Milne returns to the team after recovering from injury and performing well in Major League Cricket, joining other pacers such as Jacob Duffy, Matt Henry, Will O'Rourke, and Zak Foulkes. The absence of key players like Lockie Ferguson and Kyle Jamieson, the latter awaiting the birth of his child, has opened opportunities for new talent.
