Bangladesh A in Pakistan

The Bangladesh A cricket team arrived in Islamabad on Saturday to commence a series against Pakistan Shaheens, following a four-day delay due to political unrest in Bangladesh. Initially scheduled to depart on August 6, the team's travel was postponed as protests led to significant turmoil in the country. The series will consist of two four-day matches starting August 13 and three one-day matches on August 26, 28, and 30, all set to be played at the Islamabad Club. Anamul Haque Bijoy will captain the A team for the four-day series, while Tawhid Hridoy will lead them in the one-day matches. The arrival of the A team is considered a positive sign for the subsequent national team's tour, which includes a two-match Test series beginning August 21. The BCB has confirmed its commitment to the tour despite the challenges faced in Bangladesh.
