Renowned Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is set to make his highly anticipated debut in the OTT space with a big-budget web series for Netflix. Described as a passion project, the untitled series will feature a star-studded ensemble of leading female actors. Production is scheduled to commence in early 2025, with the series expected to stream in 2026. This marks Johar's first foray as a solo director in the digital world, following his co-directorial efforts on Netflix's 'Lust Stories' and 'Ghost Stories'. The project is noted to be one of Netflix's most ambitious upcoming shows. After completing this series, Johar plans to return to the big screen with a grand action film.
