SBU Kills FSB Agents After Kyiv Assassination

Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) announced it tracked down and killed two Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) agents—a man and a woman—suspected of assassinating SBU Colonel Ivan Voronych in Kyiv. Voronych, who played a key role in covert operations and reportedly aided Ukraine's incursion into Russia’s Kursk region, was shot multiple times with a silenced pistol in an attack captured on surveillance cameras. Ukrainian officials claim the suspects were directed by handlers to surveil Voronych and received a weapon at a safehouse. The SBU stated that the agents resisted arrest and were killed during a special operation, with video released of the aftermath.
