High School Basketball Tournaments Across States

Several high school basketball tournaments are taking place this weekend across the United States. In South Dakota, the Michael J. Entringer Classic at Brookings High School features Elkton-Lake Benton competing against Waverly-South Shore, with proceeds supporting student-athlete scholarships. New York's Downtown Classic in Utica showcases over 50 teams in a four-day tournament, including notable matchups between state-ranked teams. Jefferson City and Capital City are hosting the Joe Machens Great 8 Classic and Jefferson Bank Select 8 Classic, respectively, featuring numerous local teams. Meanwhile, California's Sunny Hills and Orange are hosting separate basketball tournaments, with various boys and girls teams competing throughout the weekend. The Tustin Classic also kicks off at Tustin High School, featuring eight teams in pool play leading to a championship game on Monday night.
