Coach and Umpire Brawl at NC Little League Game

A Little League game between Cherryville and Bull City in Wilson, North Carolina, descended into chaos when a Cherryville coach and the home plate umpire, Robby Beamon, engaged in a physical altercation. The incident, which occurred during the fifth inning of the state championship tournament, started after the umpire suggested the coach be ejected for using profanity. The coach shoved Beamon, who then retaliated by swinging his face mask at the coach's head multiple times. The brawl, captured on video, lasted slightly over a minute and was labeled as an 'assault' by bystanders.
