Daisy Edgar-Jones and Lennie James are set to star in Tennessee Williams' classic play, 'Cat On A Hot Tin Roof', at London's Almeida Theatre, directed by Rebecca Frecknall. The production will run from December 10 to February 1, featuring Edgar-Jones as Maggie, James as Big Daddy, and Kingsley Ben-Adir as Brick. This marks Edgar-Jones's return to the stage after her breakout role in 'Normal People', and it is the third Williams play directed by Frecknall at the Almeida, following successful adaptations of 'Summer and Smoke' and 'A Streetcar Named Desire'. The play, which explores family dynamics during a birthday celebration, is renowned for its themes of dishonesty and desire. Additionally, the Almeida has announced further productions for the upcoming season, including 'A Moon for the Misbegotten' starring Ruth Wilson and Michael Shannon, and the premiere of 'Otherland'.
