Mumbai Police Investigate Death Threats Against Salman Khan

Bollywood actor Salman Khan has received a death threat demanding Rs 5 crore to settle issues with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, following the recent murder of politician Baba Siddique, who was closely associated with Khan. The threatening message, sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police's WhatsApp number, warned that Khan's fate could be worse than Siddique's if he does not comply. In response to this threat, Navi Mumbai police have arrested an alleged conspirator named Sukha, believed to be part of the Bishnoi gang, who had plotted to assassinate Khan using weapons sourced from Pakistan. Following Siddique's assassination, Khan's security has been significantly upgraded, and he is now protected by a Y+ category security detail. Authorities are investigating multiple death threats against Khan, which have persisted over recent years, heightening concerns for his safety. Khan has maintained connections with Siddique's family during this tumultuous period, despite the ongoing threats to his life.
