Dream Theater Releases New Single 'A Broken Man'

Dream Theater has released a new single, 'A Broken Man', from their upcoming album 'Parasomnia', set to launch on February 7, 2025. This will be the first album featuring the band's iconic lineup, including James LaBrie and Mike Portnoy, since 2009. The song addresses the struggles of a war veteran dealing with sleep disturbances, incorporating audio snippets from real veterans sharing their traumatic experiences. 'Parasomnia' explores themes of sleep-related disturbances and consists of eight tracks, totaling 71 minutes. The album will be available in various limited edition formats, including a deluxe box set. The band is currently wrapping up their 40th Anniversary Tour, with plans for a live album from the tour also in the works.
