Prime Video Unveils Last One Laughing UK Season 2 Cast

Prime Video has announced the lineup for the second season of Last One Laughing UK, with reigning champion Bob Mortimer returning to defend his title against a strong group of comedians including David Mitchell, Diane Morgan, Romesh Ranganathan, Alan Carr, Amy Gledhill, Maisie Adam, Mel Giedroyc, Gbemisola Ikumelo, and Sam Campbell. The show, hosted by Jimmy Carr with Roisin Conaty as sidekick, challenges ten comedians to spend a day together without laughing; those who laugh are immediately disqualified. The first season was a major success, breaking several streaming records in the UK and drawing over 6 million viewers for its initial episodes. The format, adapted from the Japanese Amazon Original Documental, relies on comedians using their comedic skills to make others laugh while maintaining a straight face themselves. The new season promises additional comedy cameos, format twists, and surprises aimed at eliciting laughs from both participants and viewers. Filmed and produced by Banijay labels Zeppotron and Initial, the show will air on Prime Video early next year but is not currently available in the U.S.
