Clinton Township Man Charged with Human Trafficking of Saginaw Woman

Marcell Davon Joseph, a 24-year-old from Clinton Township, has been charged with multiple felonies related to the human trafficking of a 28-year-old Saginaw woman. He faces charges of conducting a human trafficking enterprise resulting in injury, transporting a person for prostitution, and accepting earnings from prostitution, along with a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence. Authorities allege he physically assaulted the victim and forced her into sex acts without compensating her. Joseph was arrested on March 21, arraigned the following day, and is being held on a $150,000 bond. This case is part of the ongoing efforts of the Oakland County Human Trafficking Task Force, which has already made another arrest in connection with similar charges. Sheriff Michael Bouchard has emphasized the importance of holding traffickers accountable and has encouraged victims to seek help.
